My name is Shawna and I'm a domestic engineer (aka stay at home mom). I am first and foremost a child of God. Walking with the Lord truly is a wonderful life. I am very happily married for almost six years to my absolute best friend in the world, Kevin. in six years we have created so much love and honor for one another and I eagerly anticipate the rest of my life with him. We have two wonderful , beautiful children, Gavin, 6, and Chloe, 1. They are my heart. I cannot even try to expain how blessed I am with these two. I am so thanfkul God chose me to be their mother.

I am in this world by God's grace and I'm waiting to see the wonderful plans he has for me. I hope with this blog to share with you my newfound love and worship for our Heavenly Father. I hope to delight you with my witty character and sense of humor. I want to share with you my love of country life and antiques, decorating, cookin, homemaking, collecting recipes and my wonderful tales of motherhood.

Yes, I do have a camara and will be posting pictures and such as I go along. Please check back often as Im full of hot air and have a lot to say..Next post I will tell you of my love for the unpcoming season and all its beauty...fall decorating included..!

I want to share this with you today. It is from Proverbs and my favorite passage from the Bible. I hope you are inspired when you read it. When I read it , I an uplifted and renewed as a mother and wife. It was spoken at my Grandmothers funeral, and could not have been more true of her.

"A capable, itellegent, and virtuous woman-who is he who can find her? She is far more precious than jewels and her value is far above rubies or pearls. The heart of her husband trusts in her confidently and relies on and believes in her securely, so that he has no lack of honest gain...she comforts, encourages, and does him only good as long as there is life within her." Proverbs 31:10-12

Until next time, please remember to thank the Lord for all his wonderful blessings.
Much Love,
Shawna
